Ho Chi Minh City kicked off the project against flooding 10.000 billion

Trung Nam Group has reached agreement with Dutch enginering firm CDR International and Vinaned on reviewing the mechanism operation of all the essential gates of Ho Chi Minh city's tidal flood control project. 

The project is expected to control flooding and climate change’s effects in a downtown area of 570 square kilometers where around 6.5 million people are living, according to the news agency. The targeted districts are 1, 4, 7, 8, Nha Be and Binh Chanh. See link under for general information about the project itself.
